Junior hockey is used to describe various levels of ice hockey competition for players generally between the ages of 16 and 20 years old. American and Canadian junior hockey leagues are considered to be amateur hockey, except for franchises that play in the Canadian Hockey League. There are a variety of designations including Tier I, II and II in the United States and Junior A, B and C in Canada.

Canadian Junior A teams, are broken down into two main areas, namely the OHA and the CJAHL governing bodies. These include the majority of Junior A leagues that compete in Canada. Area also includes national playdown results and past Royal Bank Cup winners, along with league champions.
In the Junior A ranks we also have the American teams in USA Hockey, including USHL (Tier 1), and the new NAHL. (Tier 2 merger of previous NAHL and America West League). USA Hockey have realigned a variety of previous Junior B Leagues to a new classification of Tier III Junior A. We also have links for USA Hockey non-sanctioned Junior A leagues in the United States. Also included are league champions and the Gold Cup results.
